RETAINERSHIP MODEL-SCOPE OF SERVICES

The scope of services under this retainer agreement is limited to the services outlined below as part of our legal advisory and Tax Consultancy services. Any services not expressly mentioned, such as filing and pursuing refund claims or initiating civil suits or writ petitions before the High Courts to challenge executive actions or the vires of law, shall not be covered under this agreement and may be provided separately on a case-by-case basis, subject to a mutually agreed professional fee arrangement.

Indirect Taxes

Advisory/filing of monthly sales tax returns
Advisory/filing of monthly withholding tax statements
Basic advisory services on admissibility/inadmissibility of input tax/tax credit
Basic advisory services on chargeability/exemption from sales tax, federal excise duty, customs duty, etc.
Basic advisory services with respect to withholding tax obligations and the applicable rate of tax to be withheld
Basic advisory services on maintenance of stock statement/inventory, sales and purchase register, issuance of sales tax invoices
In case of any delay in filing, seeking extension from Tax Authorities
Basic advisory services on the applicable rate of sales tax, federal excise duty, customs duty, etc.

Discussion on final accounts
Discussion on income tax return
Preparation and filing of Annual Return of Income/Statement of Final Taxation
Preparation of withholding tax challan on account of payment of rent, salaries/wages, supply of goods, etc.
Filing of biannually withholding tax statements
Filing of annual withholding statement on salaries/wages
Computation of advance tax on quarterly basis
Basic advisory services on exemptions, concessions, credits and other benefits available under the law
Basic advisory services on obligations as a tax withholding agent and the tax rate applicable
In case of any delay in filing, seeking extension from Tax Authorities
