Dr Abdul is a humanist, sociologist, scholar and an advocate. Apart from having a Master level law degree, he holds a Ph.D in Criminology mostly related to corporate deviance. He is practicing attorney with over 30 years of post-qualification experience. His specialist area of interest includes practice in corporate and commercial law. The area of expertise includes commercial and corporate drafting, trade and commercial dispute resolutions, Letter of Credit, import & export matters, customs duties and taxation disputes and follow up administrative hearings. He is regularly providing consultancy in International Bank Guarantee leasing, securing and retiring for international trade financing. He is specialized in practice in regulatory and compliance matters related to investment, taxation, foreign exchange, international trade, government licensing for telecommunications, electricity, public procurement and bidding compliance. He is regular participant in contentious regulatory hearings.
He has worked as director procurement and legal in a government organization for over Five years and hence is fully conversant with government working and current practices.
He is also the author of a book ‘Social Dynamics of White-Collar Crimes’ that specially focusses on his Five years of empirical research in areas of corporate, occupational and professional deviance. He is a campaigner for speedy justice in judicial system of Pakistan.
